Miniature playground plan
The activity Sharnika and I will be doing is a miniature playground.
When I make my miniature playground I will be doing it with Sharnika but we will be making a different miniature playground.
We will be working in art area because we need to use a hot glue gun.

My steps for the base of the playground
Get the base of the playground ready to attach most of the things on the base of the playground like the flying fox and slide.
Then I have to make the flying fox and the slide to attach to the base of the playground.
Then I have to make the swing set then the seesaw and then the sand pit and maybe a soccer field.
Is to put all the playground together.
Now my steps for the slide are
Get the Popsicle sticks and hot glue gun out with the sticks.
Put the Popsicle sticks where you want them to be.
Then stick them all together where you want them.
Now also my steps for seesaw is
Put straw on the Popsicle stick cut about 2cm.
Then put a full Popsicle stick on the straw.
And then cut a little strip of Popsicle stick.
And done you have seesaw now.
Reflection of the miniature playground
What I am creating is a miniature playground.
What work well for me was to get the main base of the playground done because I was trying to get that done first because the base holed the slide, rock wall, spider net and swing.
A struggle for me was to do the swing because I can't get it to work by getting the swing to stand up so I put the swing underneath the base and how I made the swing was with a Popsicle stick and string and this is what turned out like
An improvement for me is not to rush because I think that the seesaw is like turning and that's not the way I wanted to be.
My next step is to make a hopscotch and foursquare.
Gravity is force because gravity attracts our bodies towards the centre of the earth.
Pushing and pulling are forces too because they cause speeding up, slowing down, change in a different direction.
What I did was a Catapult and the steps to make the catapult were
You had to get the material and the material were popsicles stick, tape, rubber bands and plastic spoon and one cotton ball and three cotton balls.
And we had to get everything.
And then we had to build our catapult.
Then we had to go and fire it outside.
What I did was a catapult and we had to collect the data by going outside and fire cotton balls but every test I did I had to add one rubber band and the tools I use was popsicles stick, tape, rubber bands and plastic spoon and one cotton ball and three cotton balls.
And once I went outside I came inside I did my data and my data for the one was
1 cotton ball
And my data for the three cotton balls are
When I did the catapult with three cotton balls it didn't really go good so if I would change something it would be to not do it with three cotton balls.
How I used this learning was that I didn't have a catapult but Sharnika let me use her catapult but one thing learnt was to not put a big catapult in a small desk.
In my learning I am designing and creating a miniature playground and explaining push/pull, gravity and acceleration
What I've done
This week I got to choose from two activities and they were mini golf and pulley system I choose pulley system because I wanted to see it go up and down and I choose pulley system because I wanted a Challenge and I did it with Heilee and we did the pulley system in room 13 and we used a shoebox, string, tape, a bottom of a plastic bottle and a toilet roll.
What I found out
Our first pulley system went Really good because we got it to go Up and down this time but when it went down it would go down fast like you're on a really fast water slide.
What I wonder
Is if I can make it go slower down I would because if it was a slide I would not go on it because I would not like to go on a slide that goes straight down it would not be that fun but when heilee and I made our pulley system I think that our first pulley system went better than our second.
What i’ve done:
I got to choose between three activities this week. And they were out of basketball bounce, ping pong ramps and chair pulleys.
I choose chair pulleys because I wanted to see if I can make it go up and down not side to side. I made my chair pulley in room 13. I made it with Emma and we used two chairs and rope.
What I found out:
On our first test run for the chair pulley didn't really go good because we try going up and down but when we try pulling the basket up it would just stay in the same place.
I wonder what would happen if we did it up stairs would it be different or would it be the same but Emma and I did just putted the rope over some wire so it may be different pulling it up stairs.

Basketballs bounce because of gravity, force and push.

Is if there was no gravity in the ball will it still bounce .

Catapults is that all catapults need to a lever to pull it back so it can go farther because if you hold it ,it will go far but it's not a proper catapult .
What I wonder is
If I had a lever I think it would go much more far away
